Payment must be made in advance of lessons by bank transfer.
New Students - payment should be made prior to the deadline date listed in the booking confirmation email to secure the booking.
Current Students - payment should be made within 24 hours of the last completed paid lesson to secure a timeslot for further lessons. Failure to pay within 24 hours may result in the preferred timeslot being offered to other students.
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they meet the guidelines to pass the required eye sight test (read a number plate at 20 metres) at the beginning of the first lesson. Failure to pass this test will result in the lesson being terminated with no refund provided.
A valid UK provisional driving licence (or other appropriately valid licence) must be presented prior to the start of the first lesson. Should this not be available, MR Driving reserves the right to cancel the lesson and any subsequent lessons without reimbursement.
MR Driving must be notified of any circumstances that may impact the student's ability or entitlement to drive. Examples of this are: changes in health which may impact driving safety, or loss of valid driving licence.
MR Driving reserves the right to change lesson prices with 4 weeks’ notice.
CANCELLATIONS - The student must provide at least 24 hours notice if they wish to cancel or re-arrange booked lessons. A first late cancellation will result in a charge of half of the lesson fee. Further late cancellations will result in a charge of the full lesson fee.
Regular cancellations may result in the student's place in the driving school being offered to another student.
It is the student’s responsibility to check and confirm all lessons and times in advance of the lesson. Students will be provided with access to their personal account in the Total Drive app prior to their first lesson where they can monitor their booked lessons and payments.
Students understand and acknowledge that lesson fees paid to MR Driving for prepaid lessons must be applied to lessons within six months of the date of the original payment.
All driving school gift vouchers have a 6-month expiry date from the date of issue.
Lessons purchased for one student cannot be sold or transferred to any other student.
Please be aware that as the driver of the vehicle, the student is legally responsible for any fines and/or points obtained from Road Traffic Act contraventions or local council/police issued Penalty Charge Notices (PCN). This will be the only occasion when MR Driving will share the student's data with another agency.
MR Driving is responsible for the repair of any damage to the vehicle caused during lesson time.
